A polynomial is a function which involves only non-negative integer power of x.
Different Type of Polynomial Functions
Degree of a Polynomial
It is the highest degree or power of a polynomial function.
Zeros of a Polynomial
A numbers k is said to be a Zero of a polynomial p(x), if p(k)=0. Example: For Polynomial f(x), f(1) = 0.

Geometrical Meaning of Zeros of a Polynomial
Zero of a polynomial p(x) is x-coordinate of point where graph of p(x) intersects X-axis
In this case Zeros of p(x)=1,-1,3
Graph Of Zeros
Linear Equations Quadratic Equation
If p(x) & g(x) are any two polynomials with g(x) is not = 0, then we find polynomials q(x) & r(x) such that
p(x)=g(x) x q(x) +r(x)
Relation between Coefficients & sum and products of roots
For quadratic polynomial ax² + bx + c
Sum of zeros=- b/a
Product of zeros=c/a
